Pallet Strapping Machine for Export: How to Choose One That Stops Transit Damage

Buying a pallet strapping machine for export? What to look for so loads survive sea freight — tension, PET, sealless friction weld — and how the ErgoPack 726X, GO and 700 compare.

Pallet Strapping Machine for Export: How to Choose One That Stops Transit Damage

If you export from India, your pallet strapping machine has one job above all others: make sure the load arrives the way it left, after weeks at sea and a dozen handlings. A rejected export container is a catastrophic loss, so the machine you buy for export has to do more than "fast" — it has to do consistent, high tension with rust-free sealing. Here is what to look for, and how to choose.

What an export machine must do

  • Apply high, consistent tension — sea freight is punishing; the load must be locked to the pallet as one rigid unit, identically on every pallet.
  • Run PET strap — PET absorbs maritime shock and resists rust, where steel snaps and corrodes onto the cargo.
  • Seal without metal clips — a sealless friction weld won't rust, slip or shed, and removes a recurring cost.
  • Handle your loads — heavy, dense or mixed export loads, on the pallet sizes you ship.

The specifications that matter for export

How the ErgoPack machines fit export

  • ErgoPack 726X — the export workhorse: digital tension 400–2500N, PP/PET, sealless friction weld up to 90% joint efficiency, touchscreen. For heavy and high-value export loads where zero transit damage is the priority.
  • ErgoPack GO — electric mobile routing for high-volume export dispatch; use your own PET sealing tool.
  • ErgoPack 700 — manual-crank routing for export sites without power.

See the specs on the 726X, GO and 700, and the material case in PP vs PET vs steel strapping.

Match the machine to your export product

Different exports need different emphasis — all covered in our industry guides:

Before you buy

  • Confirm the machine applies repeatable tension (not just high tension).
  • Confirm PET capability and sealless friction welding.
  • Check the pallet size range covers your exports.
  • Confirm local service and spare parts — downtime on an export deadline is expensive.

ErgoPack is supplied, installed and serviced across India by Benz Packaging, with a free on-site demo on your heaviest export pallet. Request a quote or model the savings with the ROI calculator.

Export machine checklist

  • Digital, repeatable tension up to ~2500N
  • PP and PET capable
  • Sealless friction weld (no metal clips to rust)
  • Covers your export pallet size range
  • Local service and genuine spare parts
  • Demoed on your actual export load

Buy a machine that does consistent high tension with rust-free PET sealing, and your export containers arrive intact — which is the only specification that ultimately matters.
