History — Milestones Since 1998
1998
First prototype of a strapping device based on a double scissors system, similar to a scissors lifting table.
1999
Invention and patenting of the world's first ChainLance — the technology that would define ErgoPack.
2000
First serial model ErgoPack 300 for composite straps with 75 mm core diameter, operated by a hand crank.
2001
Introduction of the ErgoPack 500 with a 5 m ChainLance to strap larger pallets with PP and PET straps (406 mm core diameter).
2002
The ErgoPack 600 wins the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva and the German Inventor's Award. The newly developed strap lifter eliminates bending entirely.
2003
Transition from hand crank to electronic battery-powered drive. Introduction of the ErgoPack Tool-Lift for side strapping of high pallets.
2008
Launch of ErgoPack 720E and 730E — the first complete strapping systems with integrated sealing head and centralised battery power supply.
2011
ErgoPack 725E and 740E introduced with a totally new state-of-the-art sealing head.
2014
The ErgoPack Air becomes a milestone — the world's only mobile system to strap elevated pallets.
2016
Completely revised Model 2017 introduced with over 40 new features.
2018
Enhanced Model 2017 with new touchscreen-equipped sealing head — ergonomic fit and intuitive control.
2019
The X-pert Line sets the new benchmark. Advanced electronics and newly designed touchscreens on sealing head and strapping system. Ergonomically, a new high standard.
